How do we obey God accordingly and faithfully… listen carefully

Luke 20:38
He is not the God of the dead, but of the living, for to him all are alive.”

Luke 24:45
Then he opened their minds so they could understand the Scriptures.

Hebrews 1:1
In the past God spoke to our forefathers through the prophets at many times and in various ways,

Acts 7:53
you who have received the law that was put into effect through angels but have not obeyed it.”

Hebrews 1:7
In speaking of the angels he says, “He makes his angels winds, his servants flames of fire.”

Hebrews 1:14
Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?

Galatians 3:19
What, then, was the purpose of the law? It was added because of transgressions until the Seed to whom the promise referred had come. The law was put into effect through angels by a mediator.

Hebrews 2:2
For if the message spoken by angels was binding, and every violation and disobedience received its just punishment,

1 Samuel 15:

22 Samuel said, “Is the Lord pleased as much with burnt gifts as He is when He is obeyed? See, it is better to obey than to give gifts. It is better to listen than to give the fat of rams. 23 To go against what you are told is like the sin of witchcraft. Not to obey is like the sin of worshiping false gods. You have turned away from the Word of the Lord. So He has turned away from you being king.”

Hebrews 1:5
For to which of the angels did God ever say, “You are my Son; today I have become your Father ” ? Or again, “I will be his Father, and he will be my Son” ?

Hebrews 1:4
So he became as much superior to the angels as the name he has inherited is superior to theirs.

Hebrews 1:6
And again, when God brings his firstborn into the world, he says, “Let all God’s angels worship him.”

Hebrews 1:13
To which of the angels did God ever say, “Sit at my right hand until I make your enemies a footstool for your feet” ?

Hebrews 2:5
It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking.

Romans 14:9
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Hebrews 2:7
You made him a little lower than the angels; you crowned him with glory and honor

Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

1 Peter 3:22
who has gone into heaven and is at God’s right hand—with angels, authorities and powers in submission to him.

Revelation 1:18
I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

A Muslim as he claimed to be, sufi786 was trying to prove that the Holy Bible was corrupted by saying:

“I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that the bible feeds us all kinds of lies and contradictions about “love your enemy”, and yet, we see mass slaughter of suckling infants and innocent boys, girls, unarmed men, women (old and young), and innocent domestic farm animals by the tens of thousands! It is clear that the inconsistent man-altered, man-corrupted and morally corrupt bible is nothing but a false book, and can not be a Divine and Perfect Holy Book!

HONSETLY Elemantheman I ASK YOU DO YOU STILL CONSIDER THAT OUR GOD IS LIKE THIS ? AND DO YOU STILL BELIEVE THAT THE BIBLE IN ITS PRESENT FORM IS 100% WORD OF GOD BUT NOT CORRUPTED ? BY HUMAN DEVILS ? AND BY REAL DEVILS ? IF THIS IS THE BOOK YOU WANT TO FOLLOW THEN YOU ARE WELCOME THAT IS YOUR OWN UNFORTUNATE CHOICE , BUT DONT TELL ME GOD CAN ODER SUCH RAPE ,MURDER AND PLUNDER , NO THAT IS NOT MY GOD , IF YOUR GOD IS LIKE THAT , I CANT HELP BUT PITY AT YOUR GOD AND HIS FOLLOWERS…”

One thing is obvious about sufi786‘s reasoning or analysis, he perceives that the once pure and undefiled Holy Bible was transformed from good to bad by some people altering the words in it.  Because of sufi786‘s belief, he now disregards the Holy Bible as one  containing the word of God. Furthermore, he believe that some people just defiled the Holy Bible by giving many bad and ungodly attributes to the God of Israel.   He believes God cannot kill people, even babies and the livestocks of those group.  These are some of the reasons why he cannot accept that the present form of the Holy Bible as one that was inspired by God Himself.  How can a person believe that the Holy Bible is inspired by God from the very beginning; and on the one hand, can be defiled by people?  If he really believes that God inspired the Holy Bible, he should not doubt God’s divine guidance to somehow retain the Holy Bible’s authenticity in terms of being readable by the chosen readers, that is, the Christians nowadays.

But let me ask sufi786,  “How are you different from those people that defiled the Holy Bible?”

Colossians 2:18
Do not let anyone who delights in false humility and the worship of angels disqualify you for the prize. Such a person goes into great detail about what he has seen, and his unspiritual mind puffs him up with idle notions

You yourself is defiling the Holy Bible by being a false witness in catering to your own thinking and the thinking of others who doubt the integrity of the Holy Scripture.

John 5:

43I have come in my Father’s name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him 44How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God[d]?

45“But do not think I will accuse you before the Father. Your accuser is Moses, on whom your hopes are set. 46If you believed Moses, you would believe me, for he wrote about me. 47But since you do not believe what he wrote, how are you going to believe what I say?”

You were saying as if you know the attributes of God such as He is not like that, God is like this, God is like that.

Matthew 22:29
Jesus replied, “You are in error because you do not know the Scriptures or the power of God.

But then again, if we are to remain faithful understanding Him with the use of what is all written in the Holy Scripture, then we will discover that there are no contradictions, and God remains faithful, merciful, kind, just, and all the good things that we do not know.

Deutoronomy 4:

32 Ask now about the former days, long before your time, from the day God created man on the earth; ask from one end of the heavens to the other. Has anything so great as this ever happened, or has anything like it ever been heard of? 33 Has any other people heard the voice of God  speaking out of fire, as you have, and lived? 34 Has any god ever tried to take for himself one nation ou toot of another nation, by testings, by miraculous signs and wonders, by war, by a mighty hand and an outstretched arm, or by great and awesome deeds, like all the things the LORD your God did for you in Egypt before your very eyes?  35 You were shown these things so that you might know that the LORD is God; besides him there is no other. 36 From heaven he made you hear his voice to discipline you. On earth he showed you his great fire, and you heard his words from out of the fire. 37 Because he loved your forefathers and chose their descendants after them, he brought you out of Egypt by his Presence and his great strength, 38 to drive out before you nations greater and stronger than you and to bring you into their land to give it to you for your inheritance, as it is today.

39 Acknowledge and take to heart this day that the LORD is God in heaven above and on the earth below. There is no other. 40 Keep his decrees and commands, which I am giving you today, so that it may go well with you and your children after you and that you may live long in the land the LORD your God gives you for all time.

God has set the day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He promised a Messiah, the Lord of David.

Acts 2:34
For David did not ascend to heaven
, and yet he said,
” ‘The Lord said to my Lord:
      “Sit at my right hand

Acts 17:

29“Therefore since we are God’s offspring, we should not think that the divine being is like gold or silver or stone—an image made by man’s design and skill. 30In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent. 31For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead.”

Mark 12:36
David himself, speaking by the Holy Spirit, declared: ” ‘The Lord said to my Lord: “Sit at my right hand until I put your enemies under your feet.” ‘

What made me post this?  Because you thought you know the God of Israel but actually you deny him with all your baseless interpretation of the Holy Bible.  You have even used  J.B. Philips as your reference to say that the books in the Holy Bible were plagiarized.

1 Timothy 6:

3If anyone teaches false doctrines and does not agree to the sound instruction of our Lord Jesus Christ and to godly teaching, 4he is conceited and understands nothing. He has an unhealthy interest in controversies and quarrels about words that result in envy, strife, malicious talk, evil suspicions 5and constant friction between men of corrupt mind, who have been robbed of the truth and who think that godliness is a means to financial gain.

J.B. Philips cannot be used as a witness as he himself might have no knowledge of what a Christian should be.

2 Peter 2:11
Bold and arrogant, these men are not afraid to slander celestial beings; yet even angels, although they are stronger and more powerful, do not bring slanderous accusations against such beings in the presence of the Lord.

Are Christians supposed to receive monetary salary as a servant of God?  Of course not, more so, to accept it and later on bad mouth the one giving it to him!  But as you can see he is not in the true Christian Church.  He is not in the Church of God.  He does not know any better about the Holy Bible, what more of Christianity!

John 5:

36“I have testimony weightier than that of John. For the very work that the Father has given me to finish, and which I am doing, testifies that the Father has sent me. 37And the Father who sent me has himself testified concerning me. You have never heard his voice nor seen his form, 38nor does his word dwell in you, for you do not believe the one he sent.

39You diligently study[c] the Scriptures because you think that by them you possess eternal life. These are the Scriptures that testify about me, 40yet you refuse to come to me to have life.

41“I do not accept praise from men, 42but I know you. I know that you do not have the love of God in your hearts.

Thus, aside from the other description of a true servant of God, we can prove that J.B. Philips, or even sufi786 and so many christian pretenders are not credible witnesses or a reference.  But the writers of the scriptures are credible enough because what they wrote happened and the things to happen are being witness by us in this era.

Romans 15:4
For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through endurance and the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Daniel 9:2
in the first year of his reign, I, Daniel, understood from the Scriptures, according to the word of the LORD given to Jeremiah the prophet, that the desolation of Jerusalem would last seventy years.

Luke 24:27
And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he explained to them what was said in all the Scriptures concerning himself.

Matthew 26:

47While he was still speaking, Judas, one of the Twelve, arrived. With him was a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent from the chief priests and the elders of the people. 48Now the betrayer had arranged a signal with them: “The one I kiss is the man; arrest him.” 49Going at once to Jesus, Judas said, “Greetings, Rabbi!” and kissed him.  50Jesus replied, “Friend, do what you came for.”[d]   Then the men stepped forward, seized Jesus and arrested him. 51With that, one of Jesus’ companions reached for his sword, drew it out and struck the servant of the high priest, cutting off his ear.

52“Put your sword back in its place,” Jesus said to him, “for all who draw the sword will die by the sword.

53Do you think I cannot call on my Father, and he will at once put at my disposal more than twelve legions of angels?

54But how then would the Scriptures be fulfilled that say it must happen in this way?”  55At that time Jesus said to the crowd, “Am I leading a rebellion, that you have come out with swords and clubs to capture me? Every day I sat in the temple courts teaching, and you did not arrest me. 56But this has all taken place that the writings of the prophets might be fulfilled.” Then all the disciples deserted him and fled.

Going back to sufi786‘s claim above, I hope through the Holy Bible, he can find the answers himself by reading the whole story.  Because one thing I have observed, he used verses of the Holy Bible and thought that he can use it to satisfy his self interest and goal to disprove the validity of the Scripture as a whole.  I hope he give himself and the people a chance to read the whole story and not to use his own human idea and conclusion.

2 Timothy 3:15
and how from infancy you have known the holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus.

Allow the Holy Bible give’s its own conclusion.  Allow the Holy Bible to give us the reason why some where allowed by God to be killed.  We are fortunate to know what everyone was doing and what everyone was thinking.   We do not need to guess or formulate an answer or conclusion.  We should listen to what was written in the Holy Bible.  Even God Himself offers us to ask Him.

Isaiah 1:18
“Come now, let us reason together,” says the LORD. “Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool.

I will give you more chapters and verses.

1 Corinthians 4:9
For it seems to me that God has put us apostles on display at the end of the procession, like men condemned to die in the arena. We have been made a spectacle to the whole universe, to angels as well as to men.

Listen very carefully, to the situation, to the commandment, to the reason, etc.  We are now watching what was happening on the time of King Saul and Prophet Samuel.

1 Samuel 15:

1 Samuel said to Saul, “The Lord sent me to choose you to be king over His people Israel. Now listen to the Words of the Lord. 2 This is what the Lord of All says. ‘I will punish Amalek for what he did to Israel in standing against them on the way, when they came up from Egypt. 3 Now go and destroy Amalek. Destroy all they have, and do not let them live. Kill both man and woman, child and baby, cattle and sheep, camel and donkey.’ ”

9 But Saul and the people did not kill Agag and the best of the sheep, the cattle, the fat animals ready to be killed, the lambs, and all that was good. They would not destroy them. But they destroyed everything that was hated and was of no worth.

10 The Word of the Lord came to Samuel, saying,

11I am sorry that I have made Saul king. For he has turned away from following Me. He has not done what I told him to do.” Samuel was much troubled in his heart. He cried out to the Lord all night.

12 When Samuel got up early in the morning to meet Saul, he was told, “Saul came to Carmel and set up a stone in his honor. Then he turned and went down to Gilgal.” 13 Samuel came to Saul, and Saul said to him, “May the Lord bring good to you. I have done what the Lord told me to do.” 14 But Samuel said, “Then why do I hear the sounds of sheep and cattle?” 15 Saul said, “They have brought them from the Amalekites. For the people saved the best of the sheep and cattle to give to the Lord your God. But we have destroyed all the rest.” 16 Then Samuel said to Saul, “Stop! I will tell you what the Lord said to me last night.” And Saul said to him, “Speak.”

17 Samuel said, “Is it not true that even when you were not important in your own eyes, you were made the head of the families of Israel? The Lord chose you to be king over Israel. 18 And the Lord sent you to go and destroy the sinners, the Amalekites, and fight against them until they are no more. 19 Why then did you not obey the voice of the Lord? You rushed upon what was left after the battle and did what was sinful in the Lord’s eyes.”

20 Saul said to Samuel, “I did obey the voice of the Lord. I went where the Lord sent me. I have brought Agag the king of Amalek. And I have destroyed the Amalekites. 21 But the people took some of their things that were left. They took sheep and cattle and the best of the things to be destroyed, to give to the Lord your God at Gilgal.”

24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned. I have sinned against the Word of the Lord and your words, because I was afraid of the people and listened to them. 25 Now I beg you, forgive my sin and return with me, that I may worship the Lord.”

26 But Samuel said to Saul, “I will not return with you. For you have turned away from the Word of the Lord. And the Lord has turned away from you being king over Israel.” 27 As Samuel turned to go, Saul took hold of part of his clothing, and it tore. 28 So Samuel said to him, “Today the Lord has torn the rule of Israel away from you. He has given it to your neighbor who is better than you.

29 And the shining greatness of Israel will not lie or change His mind. For He is not a man that He should change His mind.” 30 Saul said, “I have sinned. But I beg you, honor me now in front of the leaders of my people and in front of Israel. Return with me, that I may worship the Lord your God.” 31 So Samuel returned with Saul, and Saul worshiped the Lord.

After reading the events above, what did we find out?

1 Samuel 15:

22 Samuel said, “Is the Lord pleased as much with burnt gifts as He is when He is obeyed? See, it is better to obey than to give gifts. It is better to listen than to give the fat of rams.

23 To go against what you are told is like the sin of witchcraft. Not to obey is like the sin of worshiping false gods. You have turned away from the Word of the Lord. So He has turned away from you being king.”

24 Then Saul said to Samuel, “I have sinned. I have sinned against the Word of the Lord and your words, because I was afraid of the people and listened to them.

Perhaps many of the readers will understand some points of God found on the verses.

But we were not taught to just read a part or the Holy Bible, and that’s it, then we will stop.  But we were not taught to think like that, we were taught by the Holy Scripture to seek out from the Book of the Lord to find answers!

Acts 17:

22Paul then stood up in the meeting of the Areopagus and said: “Men of Athens! I see that in every way you are very religious. 23For as I walked around and looked carefully at your objects of worship, I even found an altar with this inscription: TO AN UNKNOWN GOD. Now what you worship as something unknown I am going to proclaim to you.

24The God who made the world and everything in it is the Lord of heaven and earth and does not live in temples built by hands. 25And he is not served by human hands, as if he needed anything, because he himself gives all men life and breath and everything else.

26From one man he made every nation of men, that they should inhabit the whole earth; and he determined the times set for them and the exact places where they should live. 27God did this so that men would seek him and perhaps reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us. 28‘For in him we live and move and have our being.’ As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’

God is  the living God.

Matthew 22:32
‘I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob’ ? He is not the God of the dead but of the living.”

But when He speaks, do we listen?  When He commands, do we obey?  Imagine, even the heavens  should listen! Now, learn to listen to a friend of God.  I hope you can find more insights on the below verses, they are not just idle words for the people concerned:

Deuteronomy 32:

 1 Listen, O heavens, and I will speak;
hear, O earth, the words of my mouth.

2 Let my teaching fall like rain
and my words descend like dew,
       like showers on new grass,
like abundant rain on tender plants.

3 I will proclaim the name of the LORD.
Oh, praise the greatness of our God!

4 He is the Rock, his works are perfect,
and all his ways are just.
A faithful God who does no wrong,
       upright and just is he.

 5 They have acted corruptly toward him;
to their shame they are no longer his children,
but a warped and crooked generation. [a]

6 Is this the way you repay the LORD,
       O foolish and unwise people?
Is he not your Father, your Creator, [b]
who made you and formed you?

 7 Remember the days of old;
       consider the generations long past.
Ask your father and he will tell you,
your elders, and they will explain to you
.

8 When the Most High gave the nations their inheritance,
       when he divided all mankind,
he set up boundaries for the peoples
according to the number of the sons of Israel
. [c]

9 For the LORD’s portion is his people,
       Jacob his allotted inheritance.

10 In a desert land he found him,
in a barren and howling waste.
       He shielded him and cared for him;
he guarded him as the apple of his eye,

11 like an eagle that stirs up its nest
       and hovers over its young,
that spreads its wings to catch them
and carries them on its pinions.

 12 The LORD alone led him;
no foreign god was with him
.

13 He made him ride on the heights of the land
and fed him with the fruit of the fields.
He nourished him with honey from the rock,
and with oil from the flinty crag,

14 with curds and milk from herd and flock
and with fattened lambs and goats,
       with choice rams of Bashan
and the finest kernels of wheat.
You drank the foaming blood of the grape.

 15 Jeshurun [d] grew fat and kicked;
filled with food, he became heavy and sleek.
He abandoned the God who made him
and rejected the Rock his Savior
.

16 They made him jealous with their foreign gods
and angered him with their detestable idols
.

17 They sacrificed to demons, which are not God
       gods they had not known,
       gods that recently appeared,
gods your fathers did not fear
.

 18 You deserted the Rock, who fathered you;
you forgot the God who gave you birth.

19 The LORD saw this and rejected them
because he was angered by his sons and daughters
.

20 “I will hide my face from them,” he said,
       “and see what their end will be;
for they are a perverse generation,
       children who are unfaithful.

21 They made me jealous by what is no god
and angered me with their worthless idols
.
       I will make them envious by those who are not a people;
I will make them angry by a nation that has no understanding.

22 For a fire has been kindled by my wrath,
one that burns to the realm of death [e] below.
It will devour the earth and its harvests
and set afire the foundations of the mountains.

23 “I will heap calamities upon them
and spend my arrows against them.

24 I will send wasting famine against them,
       consuming pestilence and deadly plague;
I will send against them the fangs of wild beasts,
the venom of vipers that glide in the dust.

 25 In the street the sword will make them childless;
in their homes terror will reign.
Young men and young women will perish,
       infants and gray-haired men.

 26 I said I would scatter them
and blot out their memory from mankind,

27 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy,
       lest the adversary misunderstand
       and say, ‘Our hand has triumphed;
the LORD has not done all this.’ ”

28 They are a nation without sense,
there is no discernment in them
.

29 If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be!

30 How could one man chase a thousand,
or two put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock had sold them,
unless the LORD had given them up?

31 For their rock is not like our Rock,
       as even our enemies concede.

32 Their vine comes from the vine of Sodom
and from the fields of Gomorrah.
Their grapes are filled with poison,
       and their clusters with bitterness.

33 Their wine is the venom of serpents,
       the deadly poison of cobras.

34 “Have I not kept this in reserve
and sealed it in my vaults?

35 It is mine to avenge; I will repay.
       In due time their foot will slip;
their day of disaster is near
and their doom rushes upon them.”

36 The LORD will judge his people
and have compassion on his servants
when he sees their strength is gone
and no one is left, slave or free.

37 He will say: “Now where are their gods,
the rock they took refuge in
,

38 the gods who ate the fat of their sacrifices
and drank the wine of their drink offerings?
Let them rise up to help you!
       Let them give you shelter!

39 “See now that I myself am He!
There is no god besides me.
I put to death and I bring to life,
I have wounded and I will heal,
and no one can deliver out of my hand
.

40 I lift my hand to heaven and declare:
As surely as I live forever
,

41 when I sharpen my flashing sword
and my hand grasps it in judgment,
I will take vengeance on my adversaries
and repay those who hate me.

42 I will make my arrows drunk with blood,
       while my sword devours flesh:
the blood of the slain and the captives,
the heads of the enemy leaders.”

43 Rejoice, O nations, with his people, [f] , [g]
       for he will avenge the blood of his servants;
he will take vengeance on his enemies
and make atonement for his land and people.

44 Moses came with Joshua [h] son of Nun and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people. 45 When Moses finished reciting all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to heart all the words I have solemnly declared to you this day, so that you may command your children to obey carefully all the words of this law. 47 They are not just idle words for you—they are your life. By them you will live long in the land you are crossing the Jordan to possess.”

But then again, what happens to those who died doing evil things? Are those evil men different from the evil men today? There are so many definition in the Holy Bible, we need to learn the basics.  Read some:

1 Peter 4

1Therefore, since Christ suffered in his body, arm yourselves also with the same attitude, because he who has suffered in his body is done with sin.

2As a result, he does not live the rest of his earthly life for evil human desires, but rather for the will of God.

3For you have spent enough time in the past doing what pagans choose to do—living in debauchery, lust, drunkenness, orgies, carousing and detestable idolatry.

4They think it strange that you do not plunge with them into the same flood of dissipation, and they heap abuse on you.

5But they will have to give account to him who is ready to judge the living and the dead.

6For this is the reason the gospel was preached even to those who are now dead, so that they might be judged according to men in regard to the body, but live according to God in regard to the spirit.

Ecclesiastes 9:4
Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!

God has a plan to those who are living and those who died in the old times up to now and those who victimized these people.  The time will come that this Great Babylon and her daughters will pay the price of their evil deeds – false teachings.

Psalm 137:

8 O daughter of Babylon, who are to be destroyed,
Happy the one who repays you as you have served us!
9 Happy the one who takes and dashes
Your little ones against the rock!

Revelation 17:

3 So he carried me away in the Spirit into the wilderness. And I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast which was full of names of blasphemy, having seven heads and ten horns. 4 The woman was arrayed in purple and scarlet, and adorned with gold and precious stones and pearls, having in her hand a golden cup full of abominations and the filthiness of her fornication.[b] 5 And on her forehead a name was written:

MYSTERY, BABYLON THE GREAT, THE MOTHER OF HARLOTS AND OF THE ABOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.

6 I saw the woman, drunk with the blood of the saints and with the blood of the martyrs of Jesus. And when I saw her, I marveled with great amazement.

18 And the woman whom you saw is that great city which reigns over the kings of the earth.”

But what does the Holy Bible say to the called Christians, who are Christians and knows God in their concept and shown in their deeds?

Romans 14:9
For this very reason, Christ died and returned to life so that he might be the Lord of both the dead and the living.

Ecclesiastes 4:2
And I declared that the dead, who had already died, are happier than the living, who are still alive.

Romans 8:11
And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through his Spirit, who lives in you.

Revelation 1:18
I am the Living One; I was dead, and behold I am alive for ever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and Hades.

2 Timothy 4:1
In the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who will judge the living and the dead, and in view of his appearing and his kingdom, I give you this charge:

Ecclesiastes 9:4
Anyone who is among the living has hope —even a live dog is better off than a dead lion!

Ecclesiastes 9:5
For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing; they have no further reward, and even the memory of them is forgotten.

To the Christians out there:

Romans 9:25
As he says in Hosea: “I will call them ‘my people’ who are not my people; and I will call her ‘my loved one’ who is not my loved one,”

1 Peter 4:

7The end of all things is near. Therefore be clear minded and self-controlled so that you can pray. 8Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins. 9Offer hospitality to one another without grumbling. 10Each one should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms. 11If anyone speaks, he should do it as one speaking the very words of God. If anyone serves, he should do it with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ. To him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

12Dear friends, do not be surprised at the painful trial you are suffering, as though something strange were happening to you. 13But rejoice that you participate in the sufferings of Christ, so that you may be overjoyed when his glory is revealed. 14If you are insulted because of the name of Christ, you are blessed, for the Spirit of glory and of God rests on you. 15If you suffer, it should not be as a murderer or thief or any other kind of criminal, or even as a meddler. 16However, if you suffer as a Christian, do not be ashamed, but praise God that you bear that name.

17For it is time for judgment to begin with the family of God; and if it begins with us, what will the outcome be for those who do not obey the gospel of God? 18And,
“If it is hard for the righteous to be saved,
what will become of the ungodly and the sinner?”[a]

19So then, those who suffer according to God’s will should commit themselves to their faithful Creator and continue to do good.

Revelation 21:9
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.”

1 Corinthians 13:1

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal.

PLEASE ANSWER ME DO YOU BELIEVE THAT BELOW ARE THE WORD OF GOD HIMSELF IN THE BIBLE ?

Kill everything that “breathes” from humans and animals!

    Deuteronomy 20:16
However, in the cities of the nations the Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance, do not leave alive anything that breathes.

It is certainly the Bible’s principle and foundation to kill all humans and animals from the enemy’s side. If one wouldn’t call that terrorism, war crimes and mass-murdering, then what else should they call it?

Suckling infants were executed by the tens of thousands:

    1 Samuel 15:2-4
2 Thus saith the LORD of hosts, I remember that which Amalek did to Israel, how he laid wait for him in the way, when he came up from Egypt.
3 Now go and smite Amalek, and utterly destroy all that they have, and spare them not; but slay both man and woman, infant and suckling, ox and sheep, camel and ass.
4 And Saul gathered the people together, and numbered them in Telaim, two hundred thousand footmen, and ten thousand men of Judah.

A praise for dashing little children against rocks as a form of revenge:

    Psalm 137:8-9
8 O daughter of Babylon, O destroyed one, O the happiness of him who repayeth to thee thy deed, That thou hast done to us.
9 O the happiness of him who doth seize, And hath dashed thy sucklings on the rock!

I find it to be absolutely ridiculous that the bible feeds us all kinds of lies and contradictions about “love your enemy”, and yet, we see mass slaughter of suckling infants and innocent boys, girls, unarmed men, women (old and young), and innocent domestic farm animals by the tens of thousands! It is clear that the inconsistent man-altered, man-corrupted and morally corrupt bible is nothing but a false book, and can not be a Divine and Perfect Holy Book!

Do you know how to eat a Fried Chicken? How about a fried fish? You have to separate the bones from the meat, right? You know how to distinguish a bone from a meat, right? But there is no label that says, this is meat, and that is a bone. But when a bone gets stuck to your throat, we do not curse the food, right? But the bible is the same in a way, but the holy spirit has a lot do about discernment to know what is hypocrisy and what is truth. It shows a concrete example of what is bad and what is good. It shows the reality of what is happening in the old times and even today. If we have prostitutes in this era, and so in the old days. And things that happen and will happen are all found in the Holy Bible.

(1 Thessalonians 5:21-22) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil.

But then again, the statements in the Holy Bible are properly labeled, so that you will know where the statements came from. You will know who has spoken of it, just take time to read, not just a few verse, but thoroughly. NOw, were those statements in the Holy Bible all spoken by God? Try below and you can answer that by yourself.

Job 1:9 “Does Job fear God for nothing?” Satan replied. 10 “Have you not put a hedge around him and his household and everything he has? You have blessed the work of his hands, so that his flocks and herds are spread throughout the land. 11 But stretch out your hand and strike everything he has, and he will surely curse you to your face.”

Job 42:7 (New International Version) After the LORD had said these things to Job, he said to Eliphaz the Temanite, “I am angry with you and your two friends, because you have not spoken of me what is right, as my servant Job has.

    Genesis 3:3
but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’ “

Genesis 3:4 “You will not surely die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

Do I have to explain further? But if you need more hints, I think, it is the time for you to unlearn the lies you gain from listening to the false teachers of Christianity. It is high time for you to learn the basics of the Holy Bible. You may want to try reading this:

It is good to sse you want to aviod evil and follow good

So whay dont you and other good Christians abndon the oudated and corrupted book of God and follow the New uncorrupted law and holy book of God the Quran ?

Instead of insisting on following the law of for example 1920 (Bible) which got out dated and corrupted by govenament officers so it was replaced by a new law of 2008 (Quran) by governament which is the final law and the governament (God) made sure that this last and fianl law will never be corrupted by any human or devil in heavens or earth and this final law will endure till the day of Judgement .

Who told you that we will talk about Qu’ran?

I have clearly said to you that I will try to correct your wrong beliefs about the Holy Bible, God and Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit.

At least, now you come to know that there is really a different group of Christians who follows God’s commandments not only by words but by deeds too.

There is no book that can be compared to the Holy Bible. The Holy Bible is the only book in the world that teaches a man to love his enemy and give the real score why!

If you you think I haven’t answered your questions completely,

may I just invite you to visit our Presiding Minister’s blog for more insights:

    To: sufi786

as a member of MCGI Cebu Chapter maybe may I impart also my comments.

your question about Deuteronomy 20:16, it seems that you are questioning the wisdom of God which could read the mind and heart of every people.

How about if God will question you, did your court hang or beheaded a convicted criminal? then why.

If a court of the people could kill a convicted people then why God can’t?

what is the different between an animal and a convicted person?

what makes a man like an animal?

If a convicted criminal person is like an animal? what worthy is that man in the eye of the lord?

Is it, a man is important than an animal?

In short, if those people in Deuteronomy 20:16 are animal and not man in the eye of the lord then in what aspect did you commit a mistake.

Did you remember the story of abraham that because of his faith he is going to butcher his innocent son.

how about because of faith you are going to butcher those people which is convicted by God?

what is the different if those people are killed by natural disaster and not war?

Is it, a war also a natural disaster? and the different is a hand of man is used to destroy a life instead of nature but the same result.

remember some people are intent to butcher an animal for offering and the did not find a hardship to do it.

because an animal is an animal.

although animal is also important to God.

and regarding about love your enemy.

how can a hungry lion love a man?

can a man negotaite an animal?

can an animal negotiate a man?

could you tell a hungry lion, let stick together team?

God gave the law, “Thou shalt not kill,” to be followed by the Israelites.

Thus, to whom God gave the law must obey. Also, a man who himself wants to kill a person, is the one concerned about this law.

And please, don’t get me wrong, the commandment has been changed and there are specific commandments for the Christians.

Consequently, a man whom God gave the law must follow. But if God says to that man, kill that person, who are we to disobey God, who are we to question Him?

There are events that the ignorant people kept on ranting about. Actually, they have no idea how to separate facts and commandments of God if it is for Christians or Israelites.

By the way, if people keep on blaming God for killings and destructions suffered by innocent peopl that occured in search for the Holy Grail, well, you are wrong. I am telling you now, you are wrong blaming God. Those perpetrators are not really Christians, they are pretending to be Christians.

Yes, we cannot deny that in the Old Testament, there are verses containing histories of people being killed.

Reading these, their impression of God is someone who is cruel to instruct the Israelites to kill some group of people, even the babies and kids. God has reasons and we should learn those first before we accuse Him or give violent reactions. Those events happened already but can we change it? Definitely not.

An example of what happened in the past, if we can all remember, Abraham. God asked him to offer Isaac.

But, even Isaac obeyed his father without hesitation knowing that God should be followed first.

Abraham was ready to struck his son with a knife, but God stopped him. God saw Abraham’s faith as manifested from his obedience. Abraham has shown his faith through his deeds. What is the proper way of defining righteousness and obedience? Let the Holy Bible define what it contains.

People failed to realize how good God is. Up to the last moment, God has given enough time for people to repent from their eniquities. Even those people who died from war are not exempted. But little do some people know, these people were the ones taunting Israel and even God Himself. If those people who taunt God realized the Authority of God, then there is a possibility that they have instead been forgiven. But as always, we cannot turn back time.

Even those who asks mercy from God have their own share of prayers. What happens when God do not listen when people cry out due to violence?

But God seeks the good things that happened from the past.

I believe, that good things are being taught to us by Bro Eli Soriano, who the Holy Bible describes the one that can read it to us.

Bro Eli reads to us the Holy Bible which says that God has sent His Son to save the Church of God, including those who affiliated in it. God commanded Jesus Christ to bring the Good News of Salvation. One of the commandments to Christians taught by the Apostles, as commanded to them by Jesus Christ is, to love your enemy. (I’ll make a post out of my comment for further bible reference).

Today, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth is passe. It has passed already. And God wants all men to be saved. God commanded that Christians should love one another. Thus, if you continue to have doubts in your heart about Christianity, then it is high time for you to search your heart and seek the love that you have and have never knew. Learn from us.

    Learn from us.

    Deuteronomy 32:
    26 I said I would scatter them
and blot out their memory from mankind,

27 but I dreaded the taunt of the enemy,
    lest the adversary misunderstand
    and say, ‘Our hand has triumphed;
the LORD has not done all this
    .’ “

28 They are a nation without sense,
there is no discernment in them
    .
29 If only they were wise and would understand this and discern what their end will be!

30 How could one man chase a thousand,
or two put ten thousand to flight,
unless their Rock had sold them,
unless the LORD had given them up?
31 For their rock is not like our Rock,
    as even our enemies concede.
