An OPC teacher asked, Why did Jesus have to die?

1 Timothy 6:
20 Timothy, guard what has been entrusted to your care. Turn away from godless chatter and the opposing ideas of what is falsely called knowledge,
21which some have professed and in so doing have wandered from the faith.

There are intelligent talks that we listen to, but it does not necessarily follows that all of these talks are profitable for the spirit. There are chats, debates or opposing ideas that clash but certainly when it is godless, the bible says that it is ‘falsely called knowledge‘. Those knowledge may prolong your physical body, but killing your spirit at a higher rate. Timothy was told to guard what has been entrusted to his care.  He was taught of what a ‘godless chatter‘ is, even the opposing ideas of what is ‘falsely called knowledge’. These where taught to him by St Paul, who was sent by God as an able minister in the Church of God.

Let us therefore consider talking about the knowledge that is imparted in the scriptures that are profitable for the spirit. The Holy Bible serves as a guide for us to attain eternal life, not having an immortal physical body, but a glorified one instead.

I did try the above verses with a blogger, Msamudio, from his blog entitled “Stand and be Counted“, during the comment postings type of conversation with him that resulted him expressing a rhetorical question (is usually defined as any question asked for a purpose other than to obtain the information the question asks). He stated:

“Unless you mean that our obedience is necessary to inherit eternal life. Well, if this is true then why did Jesus have to die?…”

That is an intelligent question but unforturnately he only asked it to prove that their stand on adding the word “alone” to their creed is correct. Maybe, that is one way of letting the unlearned speaks of what he knows so that we will be given a hint on how he wrongfully explains and uses a scripture.

1 Timothy 1:19
holding on to faith and a good conscience. Some have rejected these and so have shipwrecked their faith.

But later on, we will realise the purpose of Jesus Christ’s death. Obedience is necessary, among others, to inherit eternal life.  Obedience is shown in action.

Msamudio even stated: “I would appreciate your assistance in bringing closure to these things.

1. Dispel the nonsensical notion that a law of faith exists that has replaced the law of Moses that we need to fulfill in order to earn our salvation.

2. Address Bruce’s questions, which are related to my last question about your definition of the gospel. He is absolutely correct the doctrines that you are articulating are nothing other than the Roman Catholic position of salvation articulated by the council of Trent. This is not good news to the sinner, who is told that he must earn his own salvation with the cooperation of grace. I bet you didn’t even know this.

3. Address your latest comment/question:

“My question to you Brother (Msamudio), are you sure you are really in the Church that imitates the Church of God being preached by St Paul? Are you imitating the Church of God in works, and in spirit? Are your teachers really teaching the deeper meaning of the scriptures? Were they given the authority and are they a fulfillment themselves of the prophecy the blessed man that can read the bible and explain all the mystery found in the scriptures? If you’re answer is “maybe”, or has answered even a single “no”, then it is high time for you to test the spirits.

Msamudio made a request to me that we dispel the nonsensical notion that “a law of faith exists that has replaced the law of Moses that we need to fulfill in order to earn our salvation.” He concluded that I was the one who said the notion: the “law of faith” exists and has replaced the law of Moses: might be one of the reasons why he claimed that my notion is  therefore a nonsensical one.  Readers, have you realized how a thinking person Msamudio is?

Even if “the law of faith” is written in the scriptures and also  explained further in the scripture, Msamudio’s heart is hardened to further his knowledge imparted by the Holy Bible.

Msamudio also added that the the need to fulfill the Law of Faith in order to earn our salvation is non sensical.

The Law of Faith is actually not a notion and is definitely significant for salvation the reason why it is written in the scriptures and form part of the gospel that concerns Christians’ salvation! Msamudio seems to be clueless about the Law of Faith, but when he has read it written on the verse itself, he obviously disregarded it if you read his comments. The one who is learned of the Holy Bible will surely notice that people who has the same idea like Msamudio, together with other people who has a different unbiblical point of views are not really bearing the fruit promised to those who took care of the seed planted in their hearts.

Galatians 5:22
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

They have not heard the gospel actually that is why they do not have the gospel to begin with. They just heard a defiled gospel, a different gospel, the reason why they might have been bearing fruits but the other fruit, not that one coming from God.

2 Corinthians 13:5
Examine yourselves to see whether you are in the faith; test yourselves. Do you not realize that Christ Jesus is in you—unless, of course, you fail the test?

I hope you get a hint as you continue reading this post.  Let us read the Holy Bible, first.

Romans 3:27
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

Is the Law of Faith really nonsensical? Or is Msamudio the one really talking nonsense? These kind of believers who call themselves Christians, like Msamudio, will not accept their own mistakes and will divert the conversation where they are inclined to believe, because they do not know even what they prove firmly, believe in, or say. When a person, who calls himself a Christian, and have set of beliefs that he would not change even if those are proven wrong through the use of the Holy Bible itself, I call them fanatics.  But if one tries to do good knowingly that he does it for people to praise him, I call him, hypocrite. But, I am not attacking Msamudio, I am just pointing him out to a realization to identify himself, whether he is a hypocrite or a fanatic, but either of these two, it boils down to one thing, he might be a pretending Christian. I hope not.  Many pretending Christians really want to know the Truth, some just find it difficult to change the belief they grew up with.

By the way, Msamudio is an Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC) member, a fanatic one, that is. He even accused me of deleting Romans 4:1-4 but he cannot see himself trying to rebuild his belief on adding “alone” on most of their belief. Yes, he needs to rebuild his belief on and on as those are actually baseless. Actually I did not delete those verses in Romans chapter 4 and it actually supports what I am trying to impart, and later on, he will read in my comments that Romans 4:1-4 actually reflects Abraham’s faith that is shown in his deeds, not doing the works that lead to boasting, but working in agreement to his faith to God.

1What then shall we say that Abraham, our forefather, discovered in this matter? 2If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. 3What does the Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”

4Now when a man works, his wages are not credited to him as a gift, but as an obligation.

Abraham actually has the faith of Jesus Christ, obedience, that is, fear of the Lord!

Galatians 5:5
But by faith we eagerly await through the Spirit the righteousness for which we hope.

Ephesians 2:8
For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—

Abraham actually seen Jesus Christ and was happy about it.

Galatians 3:8
The Scripture foresaw that God would justify the Gentiles by faith, and announced the gospel in advance to Abraham: “All nations will be blessed through you.”

Notice that if we delve more on the verse, those who can see the unseen, you will realize, with the help of Holy Spirit, that the New testament is older that the Old Testament. Though the old testament waxed old and was changed by a new one, the new one was taught to Abraham even in the old times! What did Abraham do to show his belief?  Did he not give Isaac when God asked him for his son’s life?  Was Abraham ready to strike his son with a knife but an angel stopped him by God’s command?  If he did not do what he was told, would he be considered righteous?  If you believe that you were told to do something and you did not do it and just say you believe, is the kind of analogy Msamudio wants people to accept? Is Msamudio serious about his belief? Unfortunately, he is.  Msamudio, together with his false teachers and their students are not aware that the Holy Bible is full of common sense, logic and needs analysis too!  They do not know that Jesus Christ was seen by Abraham and yet they stand firm on a gospel, on a god, on a christ, on a faith that knows nothing of it. They do not have the slightest idea that the verse was speaking of two works and wisdom.  One work is done in your own righteousness, own idea, and the other work was done because you believe in God.

What actually I am pointing out about the belief of Msamudio is that it grew from the faith he heard.  That gospel that he heard came from false teachers.  Therefore, Msamudio‘s faith will not give him any righteousness the reason why he doesn’t know how to work together with Jesus Christ.  Let us again read Romans 4:1-4 –

Did you get the point?  Can you just stop on those few verses and conclude tht you have the faith that can save you?

2 Corinthians 8:7
But just as you excel in everything—in faith, in speech, in knowledge, in complete earnestness and in your love for us —see that you also excel in this grace of giving.

Don’t you need St Paul’s complete explanation on his writings why he wrote that part?

Colossians 1:23
if you continue in your faith, established and firm, not moved from the hope held out in the gospel. This is the gospel that you heard and that has been proclaimed to every creature under heaven, and of which I, Paul, have become a servant.

Colossians 2:7
rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.

Because of your too much zeal on those verses, you missed the way.

It isn’t good to have zeal without knowledge; nor being hasty with one’s feet and missing the way. Better is the poor who walks in his integrity than he who is perverse in his lips and is a fool. Proverbs 19:2,1

How can you have knowledge?  Read, listen, act!  But choose to whom you will listen to.

Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

If you follow a commandment specifically given to you, the one who gave the commandment has an obligation to pay you.  And so Abraham may expect a wage from God.  He done this in flesh therefore his gift is the life of his son. But then again, Abraham believed first before he acted.  Now, believing first will result to righteousness being credited to him and there is a wage that comes after, spiritual. Maybe, you cannot understand it yet, but then again just keep on reading or you can go directly to Bro Eli’s blog because I believe he can read with you better that anyone in this time can.  When I say read,  this means, Bro Eli will give you answers coming from the Holy Bible, and he will correct your questions too using the Holy Bible as reference.

Going back, Abraham cannot boast because his work is not just his to begin with, he has a helper. Why?  When you obey God, as what we Christians learned, we worship God in spirit and in truth. We learned to read the Holy Bible as a whole and keeps on learning to understand what the bits and little pieces mean, of course with the guidance of the Holy Spirit and help of Jesus Christ, together with the grace given by God.

Romans 6:

1What shall we say, then? Shall we go on sinning so that grace may increase? 2By no means! We died to sin; how can we live in it any longer? 3Or don’t you know that all of us who were baptized into Christ Jesus were baptized into his death? 4We were therefore buried with him through baptism into death in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, we too may live a new life.

5If we have been united with him like this in his death, we will certainly also be united with him in his resurrection. 6For we know that our old self was crucified with him so that the body of sin might be done away with, that we should no longer be slaves to sin— 7because anyone who has died has been freed from sin.

8Now if we died with Christ, we believe that we will also live with him. 9For we know that since Christ was raised from the dead, he cannot die again; death no longer has mastery over him. 10The death he died, he died to sin once for all; but the life he lives, he lives to God.

11In the same way, count yourselves dead to sin but alive to God in Christ Jesus. 12Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its evil desires. 13Do not offer the parts of your body to sin, as instruments of wickedness, but rather offer yourselves to God, as those who have been brought from death to life; and offer the parts of your body to him as instruments of righteousness. 14For sin shall not be your master, because you are not under law, but under grace.

15What then? Shall we sin because we are not under law but under grace? By no means! 16Don’t you know that when you offer yourselves to someone to obey him as slaves, you are slaves to the one whom you obey—whether you are slaves to sin, which leads to death, or to obedience, which leads to righteousness?

17But thanks be to God that, though you used to be slaves to sin, you wholeheartedly obeyed the form of teaching to which you were entrusted.

18You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness.

19I put this in human terms because you are weak in your natural selves. Just as you used to offer the parts of your body in slavery to impurity and to ever-increasing wickedness, so now offer them in slavery to righteousness leading to holiness. 20When you were slaves to sin, you were free from the control of righteousness.

21What benefit did you reap at that time from the things you are now ashamed of? Those things result in death!

22But now that you have been set free from sin and have become slaves to God, the benefit you reap leads to holiness, and the result is eternal life. 23For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.

Knowing this, it is the power of God that works in you if you believe.  But how can we believe to begin with?  By hearing the gospel through the one who can give you the answer to any questions related to salvation.

What to believe in really matters as far as faith and salvation is concerned. What if you mistook a false teacher as sent by God?  What will happen if you believe that he has the gospel from God?  What if you will happen to you believe in his false gospel? That gospel turned into another gospel because it has been defiled as interpreted to you without the grace of God. To prove these, please read Msamudio on what he is to say about what he learned from his false teachers:

Msamudio explained, “Abraham lived 430 years before the law of Moses was given (Galatians 3:17), so the works that are being contrasted by the apostle Paul in these verses are not the law of Moses. The apostle Paul is saying that if salvation is according to our works than it is not a gift. We would just be receiving what we deserve (i.e. wages). You cannot now say that all of these passages are just referring to the law of Moses, when Abraham was clearly not under this law. Paul defines gift as something that we do nothing to earn. It is free based solely upon God’s mercy and grace demonstrated in His sending Christ to save us. This is further pointed out in Ephesians 2:1-10…”Please note that verse 10 here does not mean that we need to earn our salvation through good works. This would be in total contradiction with the previous verses. This passage almost repeats the arguments given in Roman 3, 4 & 5 in a summary fashion. We were dead in sins and trespasses and utterly incapable of saving ourselves. Christ was sent into the world to fulfill the law on our behalf and satisfy God’s justice against our sins by taking our punishment. The fact that Christ is our righteousness is the clear meaning of 2 Corinthians 5:21:…Colossian 1:18-20:…

We are now presented holy and blameless because of Christ and the reconciliation He made.

So what are we to say about Paul’s reference to the law of faith in Romans 3:27? Well for certain is not a list of rules that we need to obey in order to achieve our salvation. This interpretation does serious injury to the meaning of the entire passage and His clear disclaimer that the law is not of faith in Galatians 3:12. So it must mean something else than the way you are interpreting it.”

Msamudio again, injected human ideas and his fabled salvation on the added text “alone”. He even has the guts to reject the Law of Faith, but has the guts to explain that interpretation can cause serious injury to the meaning of the entire passage. Look who’s talking? Msmudio and his teachers has the guts to explain things about Abraham. But they really do not know Abraham nor Jesus Christ in biblical sense.

Philippians 2:56Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day; he saw it and was glad.”

57″You are not yet fifty years old,” the Jews said to him, “and you have seen Abraham!”

58″I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before Abraham was born, I am!” 59At this, they picked up stones to stone him, but Jesus hid himself, slipping away from the temple grounds.

That is what exactly my point to Msamudio. He cannot believe or accept that Abraham has followed the Law of Faith. He cannot understand that even before Abraham, Jesus Christ was existing already. He cannot understand that Abraham upon saw the day of Jesus Christ and was glad.

Msamudio added, “Yes, I am sure that I am in the right Church, because they preach the Gospel of Jesus Christ that is the clear message of the Scriptures. Sometimes I imitate Christ by performing good works. Unfortunately when I am honest with myself I must admit that I am still a vile sinner who needs Christ to save me. My teachers are not “teaching the deeper meaning of the Scriptures” they teach the plain meaning. This “deeper” meaning that you talk about sounds like an ancient heresy called Gnosticism. Beware of those who claim to reveal the “secret” or “deeper” meaning of the Scriptures (Deuteronomy 29:29). Were my teachers given authority? Yes, but probably not in the same way that you understand it. My teachers acknowledge only one authority for doctrine and practice, the Scriptures alone.”

I hope you notice Msamudio’s statement of faith. He believes that he is in the right Church but even his Church’s name and how it evolved was a man’s doing not God. Their faith were all based on human ideas. He does not even want to learn of the deeper meaning of the Scriptures by hiding from this verse:

Deuteronomy 29:29 (NIV)

29 The secret things belong to the LORD our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law.

But as sure as he refer to the verse, he explained it totally out of context and spirit. He really displayed the inconsistencies in his belief. You can also see his inconsistencies in another post about the Mystery of Christ. He cannot distinguish the mysteries revealed in the Church of God because he has not cleaved to it, he has not walked yet to the old paths where the good way is.

Mark 4:

10When he was alone, the Twelve and the others around him asked him about the parables. 11He told them, “The secret of the kingdom of God has been given to you. But to those on the outside everything is said in parables 12so that,
” ‘they may be ever seeing but never perceiving,
and ever hearing but never understanding;
otherwise they might turn and be forgiven!'”

Of course, the secret things belong to the Lord our God but in the Church of God, we share these secret things, that is, if God allows Bro Eliseo Soriano to read the hidden things in the Holy Bible.

Revelation 2:17
He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches. To him who overcomes, I will give some of the hidden manna. I will also give him a white stone with a new name written on it, known only to him who receives it.

Let me further give the verses that answers his wrong beliefs of “FAITH ALONE” and I hope you are ready to listen, with your heart brothers. Read how St Paul and St James are one in their belief:

James 2 (NIV):

20You foolish man, do you want evidence that faith without deeds is useless?

21Was not our ancestor Abraham considered righteous for what he did when he offered his son Isaac on the altar?

22You see that his faith and his actions were working together, and his faith was made complete by what he did.

23And the scripture was fulfilled that says, “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness,” and he was called God’s friend.

24You see that a person is justified by what he does and not by faith alone.

25In the same way, was not even Rahab the prostitute considered righteous for what she did when she gave lodging to the spies and sent them off in a different direction?

26As the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without deeds is dead.

Those who believe that “faith alone” can save were called fools. Why? First of all they do not even know what faith is! They do not know the basis of belief. They do not know where to begin with and how faith grows. Let us then know how Msamudio and members of OPC got to learn their defiled gospel.

Msamudio introduced himself as:

“I am part of the Orthodox Presbyterian Church (OPC). There is a link to our denominations web-site in the side bar widgets. ( ) We are a Reformed denomination, which traces our roots to the Protestant Reformation of the 16th century.”

But it is not us or them who will explain or conclude why there is still works to be done. Even Bro Eli Soriano said, “Itanong Mo Kay Soriano, Biblia ang sasagot!”, “Ask Soriano, the Bible shall answer!” a program in UNTV37. Bro Eli will read to you the answer coming from the Holy Bible.

Revelation 1:3
Blessed is the one who reads the words of this prophecy, and blessed are those who hear it and take to heart what is written in it, because the time is near.

Bro Eli has a podcast too. Click the photo of Bro Eli for the link.

Let us seek the answers in the bible not from our own conclusion, not just because we read a single verse and that does not mean that we will stop. Unlike what Msamudio and his co-teachers are doing.

Let us read more of what Msamudio believe:

“I really feel sorry for you that you have been fooled into believing that you have to earn your salvation by your teacher. This is an enormous burden that can only end in frustration and despair. If you are really honest with yourself, you will admit that you cannot keep this “law”. You break it everyday and if you say that you don’t then you are a liar. If you are really honest with yourself then this is a fearful thing that you would be doomed to fail and not enter into heaven. The good news is that you do not need to keep this “law” in order to earn your salvation, Jesus Christ has kept it for you. And if you trust in Him by faith alone then He alone has the power to save you.

You still haven’t answered my question, if salvation is by works then why did Jesus have to die?”

Msamudio might have already closed his mind and he should be the one feeling sorry for himself and his fellow fanatics, if they are.  He is bewitched by the OPC belief and faith, that is, he still thinks that after Jesus Christ obeyed his Father, Christians will just rely on “Christ’s obedience.”  Msamudio previously said that what Christ did was perfect and in effect, this perfection cannot be attained by Christians for all men are liars.  So, he imparted in a way that following the commandments of Christ is unattainable.  Msamudio also said that the Law of Faith and the Church of God are not something to be trusted upon for salvation.  What are these claims that obviously Msamudio and his false teachers invented?  These are totally unbiblical! He does not even believe on the importance of the Church of God, when in fact Jesus Christ is the head of the Church of God, the saviour of the body. The Church of God is the body.

Let us read his comment how he explains things falling away from what the Holy Bible teaches:

Msamudio said, “The difference between your religion and mine is simple. You are trusting in your Church and your own righteousness for your salvation. I, on the other hand, am relying on Christ “alone” for my salvation. Just like the Philippian jailer asked Paul in Acts 16, “What must I do to be saved” Paul’s response was “believe on the Lord Jesus Christ….” that was it.

Anything that we have to add to our own salvation is a concession that Christ’s work was not sufficient. Moreover, if it is only up to us in the end then Christ did not need to die. Of course, it is an intelligent question…because it isn’t mine it was the apostle Paul’s who wrote under the inpsiration of Holy Spirit. Furthermore, if salvation is up to us and our work then we could boast in it, which is the point Paul makes in Ephesians 2:8-9

8For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.

Can’t you see this?”

Can you follow on the line of reasoning of Msamudio? Well I can see how he said his sincerity but his reasoning and analogy is way too unbiblical. But did Msamudio mention of the next verse where the response to the question of the Jailer is written? Let us find out what transpired during that time:

Acts 16 (NIV)

27The jailer woke up, and when he saw the prison doors open, he drew his sword and was about to kill himself because he thought the prisoners had escaped. 28But Paul shouted, “Don’t harm yourself! We are all here!”

29The jailer called for lights, rushed in and fell trembling before Paul and Silas. 30He then brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do

to be saved?”

31They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved—you and your household.”

32Then they spoke the word of the Lord to him and to all the others in his house.

Notice my friends how one will be able to believe or how a belief is achieved? You must hear the word of the Lord spoken by the Apostles. And that word contains the commandments that a Christian must obey, it also has the spirit. I am not actually attacking the person of Msamudio. I for one cannot blame him because he heard the gospel, not from the preacher, but to his false teachers who tried to read the writings of the Apostles. But since these false teachers were not sent, how can Msamudio believe? He believed in vain, actually.

Romans 10:

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

14How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

15And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!

16But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

17So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God

Those who has learned of the faith and the Law of Faith and has learned to distinguish it from the Law of Moses, I hope you can try to comment on Msamudio’s statements of faith. He literally confused two completely different works and two completely different Laws. And he took the word “law” and “works” under the Law of Moses, thereby, completely not trusting in the faith of Jesus Christ that has works to be done. Jesus Christ gave us an example of the Law of Faith for us to walk therein.

But did Jesus Christ mentioned that there are commandments to be teached and followed, whatsoever He commanded?

Matthew 28:

19Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

20and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Jesus Christ said, teach them to obey everything He has commanded the Apostles and surely, He will be with them. Up to when He will be with them? It is to the very end of age. Thus, working for your own salvation is working with the help of Jesus Christ as He is with the Christians always, to the very end of age. When you obey, you show it through deeds. Your faith is alive because of your deeds, your good works.

Colossians 1:10
And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God,

Jeremiah 6:16 (KJV)

Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Msamudio’s statement of faith can be compared on how Satan does it, he uses some statement and will not say or consider other wisdom because he will be caught cheating. You can throw yourself from a higher place and the angel will catch you. Will you follow that verse? Then Jesus says, do not test your God.

Matthew 4:

5 Then the devil took him to the holy city and had him stand on the highest point of the temple. 6″If you are the Son of God,” he said, “throw yourself down. For it is written:
” ‘He will command his angels concerning you,
and they will lift you up in their hands,
so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.’”

7Jesus answered him, “It is also written: ‘Do not put the Lord your God to the test.’”

8Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. 9″All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

10Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only.’”

11Then the devil left him, and angels came and attended him.

Msamudio, for one needs to know that there are verses that are connected in order to understand their meaning.

Ecclesiastes 7: (NIV)

27 “Look,” says the Teacher, “this is what I have discovered:
Adding one thing to another to discover the scheme of things

29 This only have I found:
God made mankind upright,
but men have gone in search of many schemes.”

Ecclesiastes 7: (KJV)

27Behold, this have I found, saith the preacher, counting one by one, to find out the account:

29Lo, this only have I found, that God hath made man upright; but they have sought out many inventions

Notice how Msamudio people like him, have sought out many inventions. How? Instead of allowing the bible to explain itself from one verse to another, they preferred to use their own human ideas. They only relied on their own understanding.

Which law was Msamudio was talking about? He was always referring to the law of Moses whenever he reads the word “works.” And Jesus said the old needed a new one. Thus, there is a new law. Must we not obey the new Law through works or deeds? God forbid.

There is another law in the new testament. It is the Law of Faith.

It is the law that we need to follow, faith and works in Jesus Christ. We need to work for our salvation. Just like to the physical exercise that we do which has its benefits, more so holiness has value not only for today but also for the everlasting life.

1 Timothy 4:8
For physical training is of some value, but godliness has value for all things, holding promise for both the present life and the life to come.

Because all of these will lead us to the faith of Christ. Even Jesus Christ has a faith. And we will know this as we move forward on studying the scriptures, leaving behind the knowledge of the world. Leaving behind the teachings of the false teachers.

The plan, the stages of the faith has been well stated in the bible.

When you are young, you eat milk, and then you’ll eat meat as you grow in faith.

But when is a a person considered eating milk? Is it when he is a like a berean, but have not been baptised yet in the Church of God because he only pursued studying not actually doing what a Christian ought to do?

If he is not a member yet, how can he cleave to the good? Are you the ones who follows Christ because of the bread that you put on your mouth and then goes out to your anus? Or are you the ones who eats the living bread?

How can you be a member in the Church of God stated in the Bible.  Even cleaving to the Church of God is a commandment.  As I have given you other verses, all the commandments given to the Apostles by Jesus Christ that came from the Father should be done in the House of God, which is the Church of the Living God.

Jesus came to do what has the Father told him, remember? So when Jesus Christ speaks of salvation, it is the Father who actually is speaking because they are one in the sense of they are united with the intention to save people.

John 6:44″No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up at the last day

We are given the holy bible to exhaust the information there, with the guide of the holy spirit. Well, we do not believe in the Trinity as teached by the Roman Catholic because the bible didn’t state the Holy spirit is a God while the Fsther and the Son are God, and they three composed the God head.

There is wisdom in every word of God, of course we all believe it, but some overlooked that point.

Hearing is not just having a physical ear. The living bread goes to the ears then goes to the heart and does not come out to wear the waste is excreted.

More so, the word is not spoken by just anybody. Someone is sent to preach the word. And since the word has been written already, it is not read by just ordinary eyes to be understood.

I for one, studied, have been indocrinated to learn who God really is first and later on learned of so many things. I know what I believe in.

John 6: 44No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day.

You see, God is still the one who draws people to Jesus Christ. Remember when Jesus said he got 12 apostles and one of them is satan? Why should that be when Jesus all along knew from the very beginning who will back stab him.

Jesus was sent to the world having the commandments of God. If you said that Jesus Christ can save alone, then what about your forefathers who didn’t heard of Jesus Christ? Are you insinuating that they are not saved? Or it is God the Father who will be the one judging them. Thus, using the word “alone” has its implications, contradictions in the gospel Jesus Christ.

How can you show love, which is the fruit of the spirit when you will not work? Is it by faith “alone”? You know what the works needed to make your faith alive?

If you are ready. Let us help you let us hear what the bible says. God wants all men to be saved.

2 Corinthians 4:

1Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;

2But have renounced the hidden things of dishonesty, not walking in craftiness, nor handling the word of God deceitfully; but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God.

3But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

4In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

But though people are blinded, there should be someone that will read to them what the apostles heard.

5For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.

6For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.

7But we have this treasure in earthen vessels, that the excellency of the power may be of God, and not of us.

8We are troubled on every side, yet not distressed; we are perplexed, but not in despair;

9Persecuted, but not forsaken; cast down, but not destroyed;

10Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.

11For we which live are always delivered unto death for Jesus’ sake, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our mortal flesh.

12So then death worketh in us, but life in you.

13We having the same spirit of faith, according as it is written, I believed, and therefore have I spoken; we also believe, and therefore speak;

14Knowing that he which raised up the Lord Jesus shall raise up us also by Jesus, and shall present us with you.

15For all things are for your sakes, that the abundant grace might through the thanksgiving of many redound to the glory of God.

16For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.

17For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;

18While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Please read the whole Ephesians 2.

St Paul was talking about the works being done when we follow the the Laws of Moses, it all result to boasting.

But the works to be done in the Faith of Christ, for example, loving your enemy cannot be done by man alone, because if he can, he can do it boastfully. It is Jesus Christ who helps a man to love his enemy. When Jesus Christ is in you, having the law of faith, then you can now work out your own salvation. You will love your enemy, and you cannot boast that you love them because Jesus Christ took part in helping you to love your enemy.  But Msamudio insists that it is only Christ “alone” that can save.

I found the need to post our conversation so that I can clarify things that Msamudio claimed and prove thus that he has a different gospel on hand.

Msamudio said, “It sounds like you are denying that salvation is by Christ alone, by adding a requirement to be part of your particular church.

Msamudio, it is not only a particular church but a specific church that is being preached from the Holy Bible that forms part of the requirement for salvation. This Church that I am talking about is explicitly mentioned by St Paul, in the old testament, and even by prophets and other Apostles of the New Testament.  But how can we cleave to that Church, specifically The Church of God – examples are the Church of God in Corinth and different locales?  Of course, one way is to follow the law of faith being followed by the first Christians. Where shall we be baptized?  Who shall baptize the believer in water, and in whose name? Where can you find the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost?  Who shall teach us of the teachings?  Who shall we hear about the teachings?  It is said that that preacher should be sent by God. St Paul is a preacher who wrote a lot of books in the New Testament and if you cannot understand him, how much more can you preach?  One obvious reason why you cannot teach is you have not cleaved yet to the Church of God, because your Church has a different name and a different teaching and Gospel. What are some proofs that a person is capable to teach the Gospel of God? To wit: that person belongs to the nation called in the name of God; that person holds on to the biblical teaching the same to the teachings and gospel preached by the Apostles; that person’s understanding of the Holy Bible can be compared to a fountain of water that overflows, not stagnant; that person reads the Holy Bible to answer all the questions of a believer and unbeliever; that person lives in faith and practices holiness; etc. My old posts tackle about these questions and on how we can cleave to the Church of God preached by the Apostles.

Now, going back to the topic; actually, I remain firm in saying in my comments to his post that the word “alone” makes his message of salvation a defiled gospel – it can be a precedent to another misinformation and misinterpretation of the Holy Bible. It definitely opposes an ultimate truth, that is, God wants all men to be saved! And Msamudio cannot help but affirm that his Church, OPC, specifically created a creedal statement that is unbiblical. Their creedal statement was just based from their human ideas, their own unbiblical interpretation. Why is that so?  It is because their creedal statement does not conform to the verse they used. They are a selective type of teachers that uses only verses that they thought will benefit their self interest. “Christ Alone”, as far as their creedal statement is concerned, is not found word for word or verbatim on the verses they are using.  Not only that, it is against what the scriptures impart and cannot even be read between the lines.

Msamudio said, “The OPC came into being about 80 years ago when liberalism began to take over the mainline Presbyterian Church in our country.

You are correct the term “alone” is not explicitly found in the verses that are quoted. This term is more of a creedal statement that sought to emphasize the Reformation churches differences with the Roman Catholic Church.

Essentially, we believe that the teaching of the Scriptures emphasize that our salvation comes through faith alone through grace alone by Christ alone. When it comes down to it our salvation is not dependent on anything that we do, it is based on Christ alone.”

Why did I say that their belief is a defiled gospel? Because there is no word alone nor insinuation that can be found in the bible! The word “alone” came from human ideas, unbiblical.

Now, Jesus Christ is the Head of the Church of God. The Church of God is the Body. And those who cleave to the body by hearing the gospel will be able to acquire the knowledge that is in Jesus Christ. Thus, you will be able to acquire the faith that leads to salvation. And this faith is dead without works.

Let me tell you Msamudio, “Hey brother, hear the complete gospel, not your human made gospel. You are terribly using the verses because the explanation that you concluded are unbiblical, unscriptural.”

Msamudio added that obedience does not merit salvation because it is the responsibility of Jesus Christ when he died on the cross. He mentioned of an analogy that if we follow obedience to merit salvation, then we will see Jesus Christ the only entity in heaven for we cannot be perfected.

Msamudio said it this way, “If you are correct then heaven is going to be a very empty place, because there is only one Person who kept the commandments enough to inherit eternal life. His name is Jesus Christ the Savior of sinners, (like me) who are utterly helpless to keep the commandments. And if you say that others can do it, then you are a liar (1 John 1:8). The truth is that it was necessary for Jesus to come and the mission He accomplished through His life, death, burial and resurrection truly saves His sheep (John 10) and secures eternal life for them.”

Notice how Msamudio has no sufficient knowledge, actually no knowledge of the whole gospel? The reason why he thought that what I am saying is another gospel. But, just read his comments in his own posts, he really is grasping for answers to make his salvation ideas consistent.

Msamudio claimed, “Yes God wants us to keep His commandments, but this obedience does not produce the righteousness necessary to enter into His presence. This righteousness was already accomplished by Jesus who transfers it to those who believe in His name, 2 Corinthians 5:21.”

See fellow readers, Msamudio has settled to believe in Jesus Christ’s name for salvation, and that’s it! But actually, there is somehow truth in it because it is a verse, biblical, but notice the word “believe”. But did he give a supporting verse that will explain the word “believe”? How can someone believe in Jesus Christ when he has not heard of the gospel? Msamudio believed on another Jesus or another gospel that was taught to him by false teachers.

Msamudio added, “Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.”

Hasn’t Msamudio noticed the phrase he himself uttered, “…,and learn from me…,”? This man is really misinformed of Jesus Christ’s knowledge from God. But it is not too late for him to learn and wash his sin, however, if he is a already a fanatic, a person who will listen no more and would rather die in his vain belief, God shall be the one to judge him.

Why? He has not heard of the gospel, the complete gospel.  But he has the obligation and responsibility to seek the Truth.

What is Msamudio‘s gospel together with his co-teachers? They use a verse and single out the next verses that is supposedly an explanation of it. The worse is, they added the word “Alone” –

Romans 10:

13For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.

By adding, Jesus Christ Alone, he is lying actually, because he did not continue reading Romans 10:14 going forward.

Notice the whole verses? It says alot on how to acquire “belief” but, notice the word “but” and the words that followed on verse 16, But they have not all obeyed the gospel. For Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report?

Is there a word obey? But they did not obey the gospel.

Msamudio, how many times would I have to tell you not to mistake the works on following the Law of Moses and the works you do with the help of Jesus Christ. The Law of Moses waxed old already. We still need to be obedient to the gospel of God through Jesus Christ. It is now the Law of Faith:

Galatians 3:25
Now that faith has come, we are no longer under the supervision of the law.

Romans 3:27
Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

1 Thessalonians 1:3
We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

See, faith produces work.  How can you work when you don’t have faith. How can you labor without love?  Unless, you have worked, labored and endured in vain. Can faith, hope and love be manifested just verbally? Actually, for your information, we need to pratice holiness, and this is through works because we are living on earth where the materialistic people live too.

1 Thessalonians 5:8
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

Now Msamudio, read this to delve deeper on the Mystery of Christ, even his death as St Paul wrote:

Philippians 2:

1If you have any encouragement from being united with Christ, if any comfort from his love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any tenderness and compassion, 2then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being one in spirit and purpose. 3Do nothing out of selfish ambition or vain conceit, but in humility consider others better than yourselves. 4Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
5Your attitude should be the same as that of Christ Jesus:
6Who, being in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
7but made himself nothing,
taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
8And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
and became obedient to death—
even death on a cross

9Therefore God exalted him to the highest place
and gave him the name that is above every name,
10that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow,
in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
11and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord,
to the glory of God the Father.

Philippians 2:

12Therefore, my dear friends, as you have always obeyed—not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence—continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling,

13for it is God who works in you to will and to act according to his good purpose.

Thus, Msamudio and members of OPC, I am telling you of what I saw, things that are not seen by an ordinary man. Charity is nothing without the knowledge of holiness.  You loved in vain without showing it.

1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

1 Corinthians 13

1If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. 2If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. 3If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing.

4Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. 5It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. 6Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. 7It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

8Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. 9For we know in part and we prophesy in part, 10but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. 11When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. 12Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

13And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

I hope you see it too by the grace of God and once you hear the gospel written in the scriptures (not your gospel), and follow all the commandments of God through Jesus Christ, thus we will have the faith and we will be able to call on the name of the Lord Romans 10:13-17!

Luke 17:

5The apostles said to the Lord, “Increase our faith!

6He replied, “If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and planted in the sea,’ and it will obey you.

7“Suppose one of you had a servant plowing or looking after the sheep. Would he say to the servant when he comes in from the field, ‘Come along now and sit down to eat’? 8Would he not rather say, ‘Prepare my supper, get yourself ready and wait on me while I eat and drink; after that you may eat and drink’? 9Would he thank the servant because he did what he was told to do? 10So you also, when you have done everything you were told to do, should say, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done our duty.’ ”

Colossians 1

1Paul, an apostle of Christ Jesus by the will of God, and Timothy our brother,

2To the holy and faithful brothers in Christ at Colosse:
Grace and peace to you from God our Father.

Thanksgiving and Prayer

3We always thank God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, when we pray for you, 4because we have heard of your faith in Christ Jesus and of the love you have for all the saints— 5the faith and love that spring from the hope that is stored up for you in heaven and that you have already heard about in the word of truth, the gospel 6that has come to you. All over the world this gospel is bearing fruit and growing, just as it has been doing among you since the day you heard it and understood God’s grace in all its truth. 7You learned it from Epaphras, our dear fellow servant, who is a faithful minister of Christ on our behalf, 8and who also told us of your love in the Spirit.

9For this reason, since the day we heard about you, we have not stopped praying for you and asking God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all spiritual wisdom and understanding. 10And we pray this in order that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and may please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified you to share in the inheritance of the saints in the kingdom of light. 13For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves, 14in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.

To Msamudio or Stand and Be Counted,

    I shall ask you.

    Does Jesus Christ has faith?

Does God the Father has faith?

Msamudio, enough of your human ideas found here or to the link you just gave above:

I shall ask you again, how does faith begins?

Is it through hearing? Yes or no?

Let us talk about faith once you enter the Church of God and be member of the House of the Living God.

Because to those outside, the word is a parable to them. They will not understand.

Now, to the called ones, hear the reader:

    Bro Elman,

I really appreciated all your effort in getting in touch to many peoples of the globe as much as you can and possible with God’s permission and help and to share the truths that we received and we live with in our daily living. it is our responsibility to spread the bread that we receive on the waters (Ecclesiastes 11:1)
1 “CAST THY BREAD UPON THE WATERS: for thou shalt find it after many days.”
2 “Give a portion to seven, and also to eight; for thou knowest not what evil shall be upon the earth.”
3 “If the clouds be full of rain, they empty themselves upon the earth: and if the tree fall toward the south, or toward the north, in the place where the tree falleth, there it shall be.” (KJV)

Why are we commanded to cast or spread the bread on waters and not in soil or in the soil or land area?

Well, we are already taught of the deep mysteries why the Biblical Christians are instructed and commanded to do the casting of the bread in that manner. in the Biblical standards and strict discipline, mundane things are largely different from the spiritual things. Jesus Christ during His ministry on Earth utilized the raw resources around us like bread, rocks, etc. to explain the spiritual and celestial things (John 3:12)
12 “If I have told you earthly things, and ye believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things?” (KJV)

to But for them that are of outside the Church of God everything is done in parables (Mark 4:11)
11 “And he said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mystery of the kingdom of God: but unto them that are without, all these things are done in parables:” (KJV)

In my workplace, I encountered different kinds of personalities religious fanatics among my colleagues who always erred in faith. We have much time in sharing things about our respective religions but as usual, the truths of God entrusted to the faithfuls prevail and stand ungainsaid by the heretics. And with that, the more I am getting stronger and more firm believer to the God of Israel that we are the most blessed for we belong to the true household of God though we are considered as nothing by the standards and criteria of human. (1 Corintians 1:26-31)
26 “For ye SEE YOUR CALLING, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:”
27 “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty;”
28 “And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:”
29 “That no flesh should glory in his presence.”
30 “But of him are ye in Christ Jesus, who of God is made unto us wisdom, and righteousness, and sanctification, and redemption:”
31 “That, according as it is written, He that glorieth, let him glory in the Lord.” (KJV)

Among all the religious organizations and denominations, ours is of God and no one could ever refute that claim I believe. (Luke 21:14-15)
14 “Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to meditate before what ye shall answer:”
15 “For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist.”

I traced back to your discussion in that said blogs and I have read the utterly foolishness and irrational explanation and inconsistent unbiblical pronouncement of such foolish orthodox fanatic. What could we expect for? What truths could we expect from them to say? Ultimately NOTHING!!!

The very reason why it is so is that they were blinded by the god of this world so that the light of God’s truths in the holy Scriptures wont shine in them. (2 Corinthians 4:4)
    2 Corinthians 4:4
4 “In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.” (KJV)

Among the mounted Biblical verses you have presented and pointed out, he didn’t even see the relevance of the the things that the words of God wanted to convey and figure out through your statements and continue to stand in the fallacies and heresies that their prechers had transpired and taught to them. They rather choose to stay, continue and say lies rather than the truths. It is the manifestation of their being sons of their father, Satan. (John 8:44)
44 “Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.” (KJV)

Go for the good fight Bro. We are at your side… Go… go… go for God’s greater glory. Who knows, what you have said sprang in his heart.

With that, to God be the glory!

    Xian, d’ omniNOTHING

Msamudio, when you keep on adding the word “alone” on verses that does not contain it nor means anything like it, then you are not that different from the Pharisees mentioned below.

    Mark 2 (New International Version):

6Now some teachers of the law were sitting there, thinking to themselves, 7″Why does this fellow talk like that? He’s blaspheming! Who can forgive sins but God alone?”

8Immediately Jesus knew in his spirit that this was what they were thinking in their hearts, and he said to them, “Why are you thinking these things?

9Which is easier: to say to the paralytic, ‘Your sins are forgiven,’ or to say, ‘Get up, take your mat and walk’? 10But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins . . . .” He said to the paralytic, 11″I tell you, get up, take your mat and go home.” 12He got up, took his mat and walked out in full view of them all. This amazed everyone and they praised God, saying, “We have never seen anything like this!”

These kind of teachers or students limit themselves on their own human ideas and understanding. They have not considered the possibilities and facts in the Holy Scriptures. Or they really don’t have any idea at all and will never learn? They tend too to be selective on what to teach, because outside of what they learned from their false teachers, they are like stagnant waters where there are no fresh water that flows.

  4. February 22, 2008 at 1:01 am

Oh c’mon, who added the word “alone” on the scriptures? May I remind you that it’s you and your false teachers that are used to adding words to the verses you use to validate your faith. Isn’t that what you call extra-biblical revelation found in your blog’s sidebar?

Look at Msamudio’s sidebar and see for yourself! Click below:

But Christians have been given a warning in the Holy Scriptures even before!

    Deuteronomy 4:2
Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the LORD your God that I give you.

    Revelation 22:

18I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: If anyone adds anything to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book. 19And if anyone takes words away from this book of prophecy, God will take away from him his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

Msamudio, you keep on inserting your link in this post, but then again, you haven’t answered why you inserted the word “alone” in your creed, for example, “faith alone saves”.

You are adding this word “alone” but how come you need to explain several chapters and verses of the Holy Bible? Would that mean you don’t really know what you were doing, or your teachers, when they came up with your man-made creeds?

    Colossians 2:22
(which all refer to things destined to perish with use)–in accordance with the commandments and teachings of men?

Ain’t “faith alone” enough for the salvation you are preaching, Msamudio, if you really hold on to your man-made creed/teaching? Ain’t “Christ Alone” enough for your church to be saved based on your man-made creed? Why do you keep on writing several posts? Why don’t you just cut and paste the sidebar of your blog that says all about “faith alone”?

    1 Thessalonians 1:3
We continually remember before our God and Father your work produced by faith, your labor prompted by love, and your endurance inspired by hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.

You know very well that we need faith, hope and love for our salvation. And the greatest of these three is love.

    1 Corinthians 13:13
And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.

Thus, your creed are nothing but false teachings that results to false hope?

    1 Thessalonians 5:8
But since we belong to the day, let us be self-controlled, putting on faith and love as a breastplate, and the hope of salvation as a helmet.

You cannot place yourself in a war with just faith; more so, with the wrong faith in the spiritual war. Satan does that, he has the wrong faith, he has the false hope, but no love.

    Jeremiah 23:16
This is what the LORD Almighty says: “Do not listen to what the prophets are prophesying to you; they fill you with false hopes. They speak visions from their own minds, not from the mouth of the LORD.

But should you continue to preach other gospels coming from your imagination, The Church of God are here to cast down your imaginations.

    2 Corinthians 10:5
    Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ;

The Church of God are holding on to the truth, the gospel, the teachings of Jesus Christ.

    John 7:17
” If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself.

It is in the teachings that false teachers are caught lying and deceiving people. Imagine how many people you have decieved?

    1 Corinthians 14:26
What is the outcome then, brethren? When you assemble, each one has a psalm, has a teaching, has a revelation, has a tongue, has an interpretation Let all things be done for edification.

But enough is enough, The Church of God mentioned in the Holy Bible has given birth to members, those who cleaved to the “good”: we are here to proclaim the Gospel, not the other gospels from imagination of people who knows nothing, but The Gospel of God with all wisdom.

    Colossians 1:28
We proclaim Him, admonishing every man and teaching every man with all wisdom, so that we may present every man complete in Christ.

Notice the verse below and read the underlying message for the false preachers: Pay close attention to your false teaching, as if you go on, this will ensure your eternal damnation and those who hears you.

    1 Timothy 4:16
Pay close attention to yourself and to your teaching; persevere in these things, for as you do this you will ensure salvation both for yourself and for those who hear you.

By hearing the original doctrines, you will understand.

    Titus 1:9
holding fast the faithful word which is in accordance with the teaching, so that he will be able both to exhort in sound doctrine and to refute those who contradict.

    Hebrews 6:1
[ The Peril of Falling Away ] Therefore leaving the elementary teaching about the Christ, let us press on to maturity, not laying again a foundation of repentance from dead works and of faith toward God,

    2 John 1:9
Anyone who goes too far and does not abide in the teaching of Christ, does not have God; the one who abides in the teaching, he has both the Father and the Son.

    2 John 1:10
    If anyone comes to you and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not give him a greeting;
